Check In Policy:
Guests are welcome to check-in anytime after 3:00 p.m. Guests who anticipate arriving after 8:30 p.m. should inform the innkeeper so that special arrangements can be made.
Check Out Policy:
We hate to say goodbye, but check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Cancellation Policy:
With more than 14 days' (21 days or more July-Oct., Christmas week, and groups) notice, Birchwood Inn refunds deposits, less a service charge of 10% of the total reservation. With less that 14 days'(21, see above) notice, the person who made the reservation is responsible for the full cost of the reservation. If we are able to rebook the room, we will refund the rebooked amount, less the 10% service charge. Longer cancellation periods are in effect for groups reserving more than two rooms and for high season and special occasions.
Children: Children ages 12+
Well-behaved children 12 and older are always welcome. Please inquire regarding children 8 and older.

Deposit Policy:
For stays of 3 nights or less, Birchwood requires a one-night deposit, payable in cash or by check or valid credit card in order to hold the reservation. A 50% deposit is required for stays of 4 nights or more.
Pets Welcome
Birchwood welcomes a limited number of well-behaved dogs, subject to availability. There is an additional daily charge of $25.00.
Pets Living At Inn: Yes
Quinn, a most gentle Golden Retriever, is in residence. Because Quinn is a service dog who actually is on staff, other dogs must be "invisible."
Smoking: Outside
Welcome to Birchwood Inn's smoke-free environment. Smoking is permitted outdoors but not within 20 feet of any entrance in accordance with local bylaws.
